PortxGroup through its strategic alliance with KCL Lifttrucks in Hong Kong has been appointed to represent Terberg Terminal Tractors, joining Clark Equipment who also support the brand in Australia.
PortxGroup will sell Terberg Tractors, genuine parts, provide service & technical support for the complete range of Terberg Trucks with a primary focus on Mines, Ports and Terminals in Australia.
PortxGroup Founders Peter McLean said the company had been in discussions for about six months prior to the partnership arrangement being sealed. He said the addition of Terberg Tractors is a very significant step for PortxGroup.
This is the first step in our premium product range offering of materials handling equipment representing only the very best global manufacturers.
Mclean says, Terberg Tractors are an exceptional quality product and offer a longer welded chassis which gives rigidity that is a requirement for Terminal Tractors. The dashboard, instrumentation and overall ergonomics & modern appearance of a Terberg are superior.
The company will appoint a Terberg product manager who will be equipped to train, develop and mentor a team of specialists to understand the Terberg range of products and specific markets. “We already have an existing team of heavy lift truck service specialists who will work on the after sales demands of the product. This team have already been through specific OEM service training with all popular global brands and will continue to develop further as we grow Terberg’s market share.” He says, PortxGroup’s experience in industrial trucks & heavy truck market within Mines, Ports and Terminals is significant and will add value to our premium products offering.
